"This has a beautiful, burnt, lightly mossy character to it, reminiscent of caramelized oranges and billiard table. Behind that are the Brunello hallmarks — glazed cherries and dried red plums. The ripe citrus and red fruit is deeply set on the full-bodied palate, anchored to layers of grippy tannins that keep this savory and mouthwatering through the medium-long finish."
